‘In Situ’ suggests an artwork produced on site, in its original setting. The settings here are in the West, painted on visits to Loch Linnhe, Appin and Argyll, the Inner Hebrides (particularly Tiree) and up North towards Aviemore and Ullapool. These pieces have been produced as Zanna balances her jostling passions of sharing the work of other artists and immersing herself in the wilds to decompress and reconnect. These pieces are on show in the exhibition of the same name – In Situ – alongside the work of Ollie Tuck. Both Ollie and Zanna share a passion for painting from life and this show is a celebration of that.
