Zanna Wilson studied at the Winchester School of Art, the University of Edinburgh, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, and the Leith School of Art. After graduating, she worked in various art galleries before committing full-time to painting and gallery management. The artist has held a number of sell-out exhibitions – both of her own work and as a curator – and her paintings are held in collections across the UK and internationally. In 2021, Zanna was invited not only to present a solo exhibition at The Watermill Gallery, Aberfeldy but also to curate and manage the space. This opportunity allowed her to bring her own vision to the already well-established gallery, aligning perfectly with her passion for curation and building on her Master’s degree in History of Art from the University of Edinburgh.
